About the project
FAU is a partner in the AI4GOV Accelerate (AI4GOV-X) project, running from 2025 to 2029. This initiative brings together 38 core institutions and 4 associated partners from 21 European countries to develop and implement an online master’s program specifically designed for the public sector. The program includes two annual editions and offers flexible, modular courses with micro-credentials, as well as hands-on extracurricular activities focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Spaces (DS), and Digital Government Transformation (DGT).
The project aims to fully train 800 students and engage over 2,200 additional participants through supplementary training initiatives. A key feature of the program is its strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration, supported by summer and winter schools, internships, networking events, and mentoring schemes that encourage knowledge exchange and practical engagement. FAU is responsible for organising two summer schools on science diplomacy and AI.
