Sandra Klos will give a guest lecture at the Interdisziplinäres Zentrum Gender – Differenz – Diversität (IZGDD) on July 3, 2025 at 4 pm at Bismarckstraße 1, room C 702 on the topic of “Pregnant with Radiation. Or Why we don’t x-ray pregnant women anymore.” The lecture will cover gynecological debates in Germany from 1900 to the rise of Nazism and negative eugenics. It will be open to everyone interested in the history of gynecology and local gender history. There will be room for discussion afterwards.
